Google has announced that from 1st May, they will start to consider “Page Experience” as part of Search ranking , as measured by a set of metrics called Core Web Vitals. even the Google tools like PageSpeed Insights and the Core Web Vitals report in Google Search Console seem to give confusing information. We use Lighthouse and WebPagetest as our synthetic testing tools for performance to measure CLS. Apart from that, we check the Google Search Console Core Web Vitals Report section to get an idea of any potential CLS issues in any of our pages. At first, we decided to run some tests using synthetic testing tools.

WebPageTest is one of the few web performance testing tools that actually tests a reload of the page using a primed HTTP Cache — most of the other tools just flag if your HTTP resources are not explicitly set to be cached.

The tool is a paid service, but it has a few helpful free tests: SMTP tester, Email tester (SPF, DKIM, blacklisting), Inbox, Spam, or Promotions (inbox placement), Email verifier (contact list), Email deliverability wizard (stats for a list of campaigns via any Google account within the last 24 hours that had at least 1,000 recipients).
