What is the NGINX vulnerability IngressNightmare? Recently, researchers discovered a series of vulnerabilities in the Ingress NGINX Controller for Kubernetes, referred to as #IngressNightmare. These vulnerabilities, identified as CVE-2025-1097 , CVE-2025-1098 , CVE-2025-24514 , and CVE-2025-1974 , allow unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE) and unauthorized access to secrets stored across all namespaces in a Kubernetes cluster.
