For Mac OS, we can use Network Link Conditioner , for Windows Windows Traffic Shaper , for Linux netem , and for FreeBSD dummynet. Brotli is widely supported, and many CDNs support it ( Akamai , AWS , KeyCDN , Fastly , Cloudlare , CDN77 ) and you can enable Brotli even on CDNs that don’t support it yet (with a service worker).
