I think the key challenge is that RISC-V needs to be so much better or more cost effective than ARM that it ends up as a mainstream processor with its own family of cloud instances, laptops etc. However most people dont know that NVIDIA is also going to ship a billion or so RISC-V CPU cores in 2024.
